Float switches and Level Gauges

VFS40 Series Vertically Top mounted Switches are provided in either Normally Open or Normally Closed configuration. The dimensions are dependent on clients requirement. These are miniature switches mounted from inside the tank and are provided with nylon nut and EPDM O-ring.

The switches can be supplied in PP , PUF, PVC or Nylon float and PP, PVC or nylon stem.

Continuous Level Gauges
Reed Chain Type Principle
The resistance chain with reed contacts are hosed in a Stainless Steel Tube. A magnetic float moving along the tube, closes adjacent reed contacts, this in turn gives resistance output in proportion to the height of liquid in tank. Output increases as the level rises, however this can also be provided in the reverse direction. Outputs are available in 4-20mA, 0-10 V and 0-5 V DC. The power supply is part of the transmitter. The output can be used for Indicators or PLC and other controllers

Magnetic Gauge Type Principle
Indicators are used for continuous measurement, display and monitoring of liquid levels. The bypass tube is attached on to the side wall of the vessel. A Float within the tube operate the bi-color rollers in the gauge. Red color indicates the level of liquid within the tank. Magnetic reed switches mounted along the bypass tube also give signals if required, for control functions. Available in SS 316 and 316L for pressures up to 200 bar along with control functions and Reed chain transmitter is required.
