An effective and reliable system to prevent theft, adulteration and pilferage of fuel from bulk tankers ferrying mainly oils from depots to point of sale.
It comprises of a Fuel sensor in each tank compartment and all the sensors are in connected in series, to a microprocessor based indicator/ integrator. The integrated gives an output of 0-5 V DC or 4-20 mA, which is used with the GPS device, for remote monitoring through the server.
The sensors are designed in various configurations to meet the end user requirement.
Options 1
The sensors are designed to measure the level of liquid in tank for the full depths of tanks. The level is in cm. Whenever fuel is drawn from a tank, the level will be reflected in the indicator as well as will be communicated through the GPS device. This type is very useful for monitoring changes and SUDDEN changes in level. The output is cumulative for all the tanks. However it will not give the actual volume removed.
Option 2
The sensors are designed and fabricated to give volume output. In this case the variation will be reflected based on liters added to the tank or drawn from the tank. Therefore the owner can know the approximate volume movement.
For this we require the exact inner dimensions of the tank compartments
It is important that all the compartments should be of the same dimensions.
Option 3
This option is purely to know if the fuel from the tankr has been removed at any point. The sensors are of 50 cm length and installed @ one in each tank. Whenever fuel is removed from any tank compartment, the removal will be reflected through the GPS. It is most suited when a FULL tanker is used to deliver complete content to a single point.
