Level Transmitters are sensors that provide local or remote information of liquid level, as well as provide outputs for control of pumps and valves to suit user's requirement. The instruments have both the level sensing as well as indication components. Outputs in the form of 4-20 mA, MODBUS, 0-10 or 0-5 V are availalble options.
3 Stage Analog Level sensor is designed to monitor water supply Tankers in water scarecity areas, where the PHD or the Water Supply departments have to provide water in summer season, through Tankers.
The sensor, in combination with a GPS device, helps the department to remotely monitor the amount of water supplied and the number of trips carried out. This ensures that water is actually supplied and that the tankers are not overpaid, by showing more trips than actually supplied.
The sensor is top mounted in the tank and supplied 12 or 24 V DC power from a battery (not included with the sensor) and gives an output of 0-5 Volts in 3 steps of 0 V - Empty 0.5 Volts - 10 percent (Actually between 10 and 50 %) 2.5 V 50 percent (Between 50% and 100%) 5.0 Volts 100 percent (FULL TANK)
It is a sturdy sensor made in stainless steel tube fabricated to the depth of tank. It is top mounted on the tank by drilling a hole of 40 mm and fastened by 5 bolts of 5 mm.
The probe top has a 3 wire connection
